Restless after the declaration of independence, hundreds of thousands of Catalonians marched in Barcelona for the unity of Spain.
Under the slogan “We All are Catalonia” and a sea of Spanish flags, hundreds of thousands rally together in the regions capital. Police report there are about 300,000 marchers while organizers say there are 1.1 million.
Supported by the main non-seperatist parties, the march was called the “Catalan Civil Society Association” or SCC in its spsnish acronym.
The central government in Madrid dissolved Catalonias regional government and are currently ruling it directly until new elections are held in December.
